Lets you generate a color map of up to 16 colors based on an greyscale input.
Usefull if you want to create an input for a material that uses the dynamic gradient node or if you want to color you normal/height details automatically.
See Screenshots for instructions of how to use the Generator and of how to set up another material to use this as a way to let the user select a custom set of gradient colors for the material to use.
It also includes a "Gradient Combiner" that let´s you plug in two gradient generators and combies them into one image. Usefull if you need more then the default 16 colors that one Gradient Generator can handle.

You rock! This is just what I needed. Works much better than the gradient filter than stock Painter provides.

I updated the files to the latest version of SD and added the .sbs file (needs to be approved first). Be warned, the pixel processor used in this is not pretty :)
the latest Substance painter added a gradientmap similar to yours.
I am wondering do they did it in the same way u did.
Very useful but as you mentioned the pixel processor setup is a kinda messy. I've set it up so it's easier to use as building blocks where the selectors and gradient base/layer are their own functions. It doesn't feel right that I upload this modified version through my own account here but if you contact me on the Allegorithmic Discord channel (tag dotNfg) I can send you the changes so you can upload them yourself.
