Remington XM2010 Rifle modeled in 3DS MAX and textured in Substance Painter. This is the first time I went through the whole process of low poly, high poly baking than texturing in Substance Painter process. I would really appreciate the feedback. How did I do? What can I do to improve? I do apologize for the large file. It is the entire Substance Painter file that I was working with.

The baked maps are all at 4k resolution.

I fixed the triangulation errors in the normals and cleaned up the work space a bit. The project is now set to 2k textures, but can still be scaled up to 4k. In order to fix some of the normal errors I had to add some geometry, so I have a new triangle count.

Triangle count: 26,056
Poly count: 13,551

The only thing I'm thinking right now is: was it really necessary to go with 4K resolution ? Wasn't 2K good enough for the results you were looking for ?

It really was unnecessary, but I always like to have higher resolution bakes because I can always down scale if I need to.
