There's too much noise and not enough high frequency detail. Is it just taken from a photograph?
seems like all GameTextures substances are nothing but bitmaps wrapped in a substance. pretty cheap.
Game Textures does poor job with their textures too, let alone Substances. Seems are all over the place and pixel clear results
Hey - yep. You guys are absolutely right. Allegorithmic built these with us nearly three years ago. They're definitely a little out dated! Sorry about that! When we first started building them we weren't totally sure what the Substance format even was. We built these with the tech artists at allegorithmic helping- and honestly - these shouldn't even be here our library is entirely procedural - and these, as other comments above mentioned, are merely bitmaps wrapped in a substance template.
Once again - I'm really sorry. We would remove them if we could, however we have no control over these ones.
If you email me directly - firstname.lastname@example.org I will happily replace any of the substances we have on Substance Share with their more modern, 4K ready procedural substances that we now offer.
