Great! Been looking for something like this in Painter. I am not sure if ti will work in painter or not, but going to try. Very handy!

I tried it in painter and it works! You have to import it "file/import as substance in project" and then apply it to a mask. Some more parameters like blur would be great, Thank you.

Thanks for testing that booman_gr! Glad it works! If there is anything I can do to make the process easier, please do let me know!

I just uploaded a new version that has Pre and Post Blur Controls. These can help you achieve more silhouette and softness variation.

This filter is great, but I think it corrupted my files. Is this possible? Is there any way to remove it?

thank you .. perfect!

@mellacita, The use of this filter shouldn't be the cause of the file corruption, no. That's typically caused during the file writing process (and possibly as a result of cleaning the file and saving). I'd strongly encourage you to contact Allegorithmic support, and send them your file along with a log when you run into file corruption.

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks so much, really easy way to create seams and all sorts of stuff around masks. Helped immensely in my current project and I can see my self using this constantly :)
