The sbsar file works in painter, maya, and 3dsMax.
It is engine 4 and 5 compatible so i think it work with few other sbsar capables plugins/softs.
The $time variable make you able to batch outputs animation in Substance Player.

Controls :
- Temperature/dry.
- Cracks.
- Flowing - Automatic Speed or manual position.
- Flow distortion.
- Crust Wear.
- Crust "moon" effects.
- Crust Occlusion.

ENJOY :)

J.

I'd render the cube pic again with more samples. It's a bit grainy still. You have the time :). This is one of the winners for sure, great job!

Thank you !, you're right :D
I'll make re-up of all pictures with less grain.
I was so exited to put my results.... hihihi

Congrat for the top 3!! your lava is really well done!

Thx vincent for your feedback, you confirm what i thought : i would not have to modify the precedent shader ^_^
I'll make a re re re up of it soon hihihi

Awesome job! Might I ask where you learned to create the animated texture in designer? I am having no luck finding a tutorial on how to make an animated substance in designer

I don't really remember cause i took information everywhere and made it by myself, testing.
You have the sbs file inside the zip, so you can see woh it works ;)

Can't seem to get it to work. Might just be me, but how do I get it to flow in SD?

If you want to see it animated, you have to launch the sbsar or publish the sbs in player. It will detect the "time" function and create a timeline.
So, like in 3dsMax, you go at end of timeline and change an exposed parameter, it will create a key.
If you want to render output animated, export it from player with animation you will do.
Hope it's help.
Cheers and thanks for Download man

Thanks all for your comments :D
gordonhenson, you have to instal this official grunge maps pack from Allegorithmic :
https://share.allegorithmic.com/libraries/586
Normally, it is enough cause i did'nt use any else stuff.

Hi, i'm new to substance painter but i'm getting along with it (slowly). I've downloaded you're awesome material but i can't get it to work correctly like every one else. I only get a black stain with normals. I've dragged and dropped all the .sbsar file, the .sbs are unknowm to substance painter. So if anyone could telle how they manage to make it work or if i made an obvious mistake that i don't see. I'll be immensly thankfull for any help :D

I MUST NOW MAKE A LAVA MONSTER WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooooooooo! idea, try making a sand, mud, and Water version next.

Has anyone tried these sbar files with the Substance Cinema 4D plugin? I can't seem to get these to render at a high rez. Even after upping the samples to 2048 within the plugin. Anyone run into this? I'm very new to using this so I'm sure it's something easy I'm overlooking. Thanks!

Hi! I've also got the problem that the material is just plain black, no red lava visible. Has anyone else the same problem and knows how to fix it? Thanks!!

Ok, just found it out by myself: You need to add the Emissive channel in your project to make it work

Works perfectly on Unity but on Substance Painter 1.7.3 I can´t find a way to show lave, only rocks showing

Sorry, saw the comment above mine now, fixed it! I´m a total noob

Amazing shader. Seems to be crashing on painter 2.5 when emissive channel is enabled and calculated. Unsure if this is a bug in painter its self or something new its doing that this shader doesnt play well with .....

Hello, yes, i didn't check the new versions of painter (2.xxx)
I will do it asap.

I textured a mesh using this material but I am unable to export an animated sequence out of Painter. I tried opening the material in the Player and matching the values of my Substance Painter material but I can't seem to find the Fill Properties such as UV Scale, UV Offset and UV Rotation. Please help!

Hello Nitin, unfortunately you cannot export an animated sequence out of Painter.
You can (like you tried) export an animation only via the player.
I didn't expose uv parameters cause this modifications can be done (and it is recommended) in the render engines or softwares.
If you need something else, say me.
Cheers :)

Thankyou Janine for a quick reply! :) I will try to export it out of Player and match the UV projection settings inside Vray. But is there a way to expose the projection settings because the main difference is that I am using Tri-PLanar projection in painter instead of UV Projection.

This looks like an awesome texture! i can't seem to get it working in substance. is it possible i can use this in Unreal Engine instead?

Hi MCerme20, it doesn't work in substance painter or designer ? I never tested in Unreel Engine. Let us know if it works ;)
@Nitin : Yeah i anderstand better. Strange, cause i just try now and the uv scale option works when i use triplanar in painter.

This worked in 5.5, Anyone have this working in Unity 5.6.0 ? If so please show how.
