This is my entry for the contest. I had a lot of fun making it and learning Substance Designer along the way. still have a long way to go in mastering it, but i am pretty happy with what came out.
Material is entirely procedural and can be tweaked to represent different levels of wear, aging and dirt.

Looks amazing -- but am I missing something? Are none of the parameters exposed?
Looks beautiful, but it keeps crashing my IntelHD graphics card with Substance Painter 2, while generating the thumbnail.
